Heavy on the Last Pour is the 8th single from Ty Wood's upcoming sophomore album, and this one comes with a story to tell.

The song opens with a few seconds of barroom ambience as Ty approaches the bartender: “Hey bartender, pour me another one. Man, have I got a story for you.” From there, acoustic guitar and vocals set the scene before electric guitars, drums, and bass kick in, building into an explosive chorus with plenty of energy and gang vocals.

Blending rock, country, Americana, blues, and pop, “Heavy on the Last Pour” takes listeners on a musical journey through the joy, anticipation, and hesitation that come with life's big decisions. At its heart is the line, “A vow ain't just a line,” a reminder that commitments mean something and that sometimes taking that next step is easier said than done.

So raise a glass, settle in, and go heavy on the last pour!
