Ty Wood turns up the heat with his take on the Otis Redding classic “Hard to Handle,” inspired by the gritty, high-energy version made famous by The Black Crowes. As the seventh single from Ty’s upcoming sophomore album, this one is a full-on rock ’n’ roll ride, featuring roaring electric guitars, a driving rhythm section, and a blazing brass section that keeps the energy high from start to finish.

For Ty, the song is a chance to celebrate one of his favorite recordings while putting his own stamp on it:

“When the Black Crowes took the Otis Redding classic and made it something new and gritty, they turned it into a whole new thing. The song has an incredible energy and is one of my favorites. We recorded this version to pay respect to the feel and energy the Black Crowes gave this incredible song, while adding a bit of that signature Ty Wood flair!”

The result is a rip-roaring, feel-good rocker that captures the swagger and energy of The Black Crowes while bringing a little Ty Wood personality to a timeless song.
